Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu assis by Moïse Kisling was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 151,200.00 (€ 140,900.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moïse Kisling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Course de taureaux, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
