Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête de femme by Moïse Kisling was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 52,837.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moïse Kisling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
