Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Bonhams in London held the auction Pop X Culture, which included the work Not Guilty, 2012 by Mr. Brainwash. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,456.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Brainwash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charlie Chaplin Pink in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 99,037.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Pop X Culture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Not Guilty, 2012 von Mr. Brainwash zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.456,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Brainwash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin Pink im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 99.037,92).
