Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Two Works) by Mr. Doodle was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 68,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 70,125.00 (€ 8,403.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works) von Mr. Doodle kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 68.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 70.125,00 (€ 8.403,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
