The work Two works: (i) My Apartment; (ii) Mr.'s Room by Mr. was sold in the My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in February last year. It achieved a price of HKD 8,820.00 (€ 1,005.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two works: (i) My Apartment; (ii) Mr.'s Room von Mr. wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 8.820,00 (€ 1.005,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
