Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only, which included the work „Eye Eye“. by Olafur Eliasson. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olafur Eliasson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fivefold Eye in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 748,500.00 (€ 1,074,895.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Eye Eye“. von Olafur Eliasson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olafur Eliasson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fivefold Eye im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 748.500,00 (€ 1.074.895,25).
