Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trollakrokar Series by Olafur Eliasson was sold in the Contemporary Passions auction at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 25,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olafur Eliasson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fivefold Eye in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 748,500.00 (€ 1,074,895.25).
