Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Torse D'Homme by Ossip Zadkine was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ossip Zadkine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tête de jeune garçon in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 797,000.00 (€ 934,005.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Torse D'Homme von Ossip Zadkine kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 100.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ossip Zadkine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tête de jeune garçon im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 797.000,00 (€ 934.005,33).
