Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Cheval mourant by Pablo Picasso for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,435.76). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
