Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in January this year. In the Prints & Multiples | Live Online auction, the work Fish Subject sold for USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,109.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
