The work Scene de séduction entre deux filles, avec Degas voyeur (Scene of Seduction Between Two Girls, with Degas Watching), plate 96 from Séries 156 (Bl. 1951, Ba. 1960) by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Phillips in London in January this year. It achieved a price of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,720.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
