Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête de femme No 2. Portrait de Dora Maar, 1939 This work is from the edition of 104, printed by Lacourière, published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, 1942 by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Picassomania auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 31,800.00 (€ 37,409.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tête de femme No 2. Portrait de Dora Maar, 1939 This work is from the edition of 104, printed by Lacourière, published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, 1942 von Pablo Picasso wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Picassomania bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
