Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Desert and Mountain Landscapes (a group of three) by Paul Grimm. The price achieved of USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,320.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Grimm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Gorgonio in November last year with an auction result of USD 44,475.00 (€ 43,083.41).
