Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer Eucalyptus Landscapes (a group of three) by Paul Grimm was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,433.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Grimm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Gorgonio in November last year with an auction result of USD 44,475.00 (€ 43,083.41).
