Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Woman Drinking from a Cup by Richard Diebenkorn was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 5,213.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Diebenkorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad in November this year with an auction result of USD 46,410,000.00 (€ 42,546,754.68).
