Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work A little bit of Roy Lichtenstein for... by Richard Hamilton. The price achieved of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,739.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hamilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Epiphany in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 557,000.00 (€ 768,020.27).
