The work How Paint Meets Line Group (Drawing No. 7) by Richard Tuttle was sold in the The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,250.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Tuttle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Picture in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,424,933.30).
