Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plank - 1964 by Robert Rauschenberg was sold in the Robert William Burke auction at Artcurial in Paris in October last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Rauschenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buffalo Ii in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 88,805,000.00 (€ 79,652,883.67).
