Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Ross Bleckner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,386.78). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ross Bleckner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 277,200.00 (€ 258,317.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ross Bleckner für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.386,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ross Bleckner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.200,00 (€ 258.317,03).
