This artwork by Salman Toor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction, the work Garden Party sold for GBP 289,800.00 (€ 343,334.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salman Toor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 4 Guests, which sold at auction in November last year for USD 856,800.00 (€ 829,991.28).
