Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Femme Dessinant, Vue Du Dessus by Sanyu was sold in the Sanyu, brush drawings auction at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Femme Dessinant, Vue Du Dessus von Sanyu wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Sanyu, brush drawings bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
