Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Nu Allongé by Sanyu was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 18,368.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Nu Allongé von Sanyu kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.368,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
