Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sanyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October last year. In the 20th/21st Century Art Online auction, the work Standing Nude sold for HKD 378,000.00 (€ 48,439.10) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sanyu erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online wurde die Arbeit Standing Nude für HKD 378.000,00 (€ 48.439,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
