Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Young Indian Woman, Half-Length, In A White Dress, With Pearl Earrings And A Pearl Necklace by Henry Raeburn was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2016. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,957.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Raeburn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Sir Evan Murray-MacGregor of MacGregor, 2nd Bt., K.C.B., K.C.H., 19th Chief of Clan Gregor, as a boy (1785-1841), full-length, in tartan, in a landscape in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 578,312.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Indian Woman, Half-Length, In A White Dress, With Pearl Earrings And A Pearl Necklace von Henry Raeburn kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
