Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Cloister In Tuscany by Tamara de Lempicka. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,081.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tamara de Lempicka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait de Marjorie Ferry in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,380,000.00 (€ 18,984,457.14).
