Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plante Grasse Et Fiole by Tamara de Lempicka was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 596,000.00 (€ 530,674.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tamara de Lempicka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait de Marjorie Ferry in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,380,000.00 (€ 18,984,457.14).

Die Arbeit Plante Grasse Et Fiole von Tamara de Lempicka kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 596.000,00 (€ 530.674,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tamara de Lempicka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait de Marjorie Ferry im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380.000,00 (€ 18.984.457,14).
