Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Theodoros Stamos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Infinity Field Lefkada Series sold for EUR 31,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodoros Stamos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Divide in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 437,000.00 (€ 321,181.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Theodoros Stamos erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Infinity Field Lefkada Series für EUR 31.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodoros Stamos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Divide im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.000,00 (€ 321.181,83).
