The work Study for Still Life with Blonde by Tom Wesselmann was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,257.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Wesselmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Great American Nude No. 48 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 10,681,000.00 (€ 6,864,395.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for Still Life with Blonde von Tom Wesselmann kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion.
