In the Latin American Art auction, the work Nubes sobre el mar sold for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,107.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomás Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Llegada del caminante a la laguna in March last year with an auction result of USD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,622,644.91).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomás Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Llegada del caminante a la laguna im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.622.644,91).
