Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jaded Sunshine; & Falling Passage by Tomokazu Matsuyama was auctioned at POLY in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,489.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomokazu Matsuyama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Something Came Together in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,040,000.00 (€ 609,372.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jaded Sunshine; & Falling Passage von Tomokazu Matsuyama kam im Dezember 2020 bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.489,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomokazu Matsuyama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Something Came Together im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.040.000,00 (€ 609.372,69).
