Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale, which included the work Sans titre by Victor Brauner. The price achieved of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,577.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Brauner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indicateur de l'espace in May last year with an auction result of USD 945,000.00 (€ 880,626.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Victor Brauner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.577,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Brauner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indicateur de l'espace im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 945.000,00 (€ 880.626,22).
