Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled 05 by Walasse Ting was auctioned at POLY in October last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 6,151.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walasse Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Love Summer Long in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,820,000.00 (€ 745,115.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled 05 von Walasse Ting kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 6.151,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walasse Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Love Summer Long im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.820.000,00 (€ 745.115,68).
