The work All The Eternal Love by Yayoi Kusama was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in New York in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,966,000.00 (€ 1,904,485.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yayoi Kusama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkin in April this year with an auction result of HKD 30,000,000.00 (€ 30,635,869.57).

Die Arbeit All The Eternal Love von Yayoi Kusama wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.966.000,00 (€ 1.904.485,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yayoi Kusama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkin im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.000.000,00 (€ 30.635.869,57).
