Signed, dated and numbered 111/150 in pencil (there were also 25 artist's proofs), published by the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin for the exhibition Desire: A Revision from the 20th Century to the Digital Age, with the limited edition certificate signed by the Director, unframed.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Adam and Eve by Genieve Figgis. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,376.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Genieve Figgis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Debutants Ball in March last year with an auction result of CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adam and Eve von Genieve Figgis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.376,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Debutants Ball im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07).
