This artwork by Jadé Fadojutimi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November this year. In the 21st Century Evening Sale auction, the work A Thistle Throb sold for USD 1,683,500.00 (€ 1,543,362.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jadé Fadojutimi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Quirk my mannerism sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of USD 1,935,500.00 (€ 1,774,385.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jadé Fadojutimi erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit A Thistle Throb für USD 1.683.500,00 (€ 1.543.362,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jadé Fadojutimi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Quirk my mannerism im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 1.935.500,00 (€ 1.774.385,77).
