The Art Salon For those who are in Love with Art

The Art.Salon is a space for art. Anyone who is interested in art is invited to attend and take part – artists and art collectors, gallery owners and museum employees, auction house staff and art lovers.

In our Art Price Database, you can professionally research current market prices; in our magazine Artworld, you can find recommendations for current exhibitions and trade fairs; and under the Featured Artist section, you can discover specific artistic approaches. Above all, however, once you have registered free of charge, you can use many additional services, such as manage your artworks in an Art Depot, present your work to an international public if you are an artist or a gallery and set up online viewing rooms. Today the Art.Salon is still not finished – and it will probably never be finished because it is intended to be a living, growing and changing entity. Some services will first develop over the next few weeks, months and maybe even years. This is because we ourselves do not know exactly where the journey is heading; we would be delighted to receive any ideas and suggestions for collaborations, and we’re not just saying that – please regard this as an open invitation to write to us at contact@art.salon. Research - Art Price Database -

Our Art Price Database is a valuable research instrument for galleries, collectors, sellers and interested art lovers.

Subscription plans

You will find Botticelli and Banksy in our Art Price Database alongside Frida Kahlo, Amoako Boafo and many thousands of other artists, whom you can research millions of auction results with prices, work details and illustrations. Additional statistics reveal price trends and developments and help you to estimate the market price of an artwork, identify rising stars and discover collection options. If you merely want to browse through the Art Price Database occasionally, it’s enough for you to register here free of charge. If you want to use the database more extensively, you can receive unlimited access for less than 1 EUR per day.

Present - Manage your portfolio -

Artists, galleries, collectors and all other pros and art lovers can manage their artworks in our free-of-charge Art Depot and network with other users.

As a gallery, you can manage your current portfolio, commission and exhibition lists, share selected collections with individual artists, coordinate the work details reliably and invite collectors to browse through your portfolio. It’s also very easy to create high-quality PDF portfolios to answer professionally any spontaneous enquiries about available works.

As an artist, you can create a complete catalogue of works and make selected artworks available so that galleries and collectors can view them and use the work details. Or you can create a PDF portfolio with a few clicks and send it to collectors and galleries.

As a collector, you can create an archive of your collection, and artists and galleries will invite you to exclusive viewings of their portfolio.

We offer high-quality art galleries the opportunity to present their artists in the Art.Salon, thereby reaching many thousands of collectors worldwide. We limit ourselves exclusively to ‘fine art’ and place great value on a high-quality selection. You therefore need to make a short, simple application to be accepted as a gallery for the Art.Salon.

If your application is successful, you can present your artists in the Art. Salon. We would be pleased to stay in contact with you afterwards as well, so that we can identify specific artistic approaches together, for example, which we will present as ‘Featured Artist’ in our magazine, newsletter or on Instagram, or to invite you to develop a joint exhibition in partnership with us at our gallery in Berlin.

However: you still need to have a little patience because the area in which your gallery will soon be able to present your artists is still being developed this very moment by our wonderful programmers. But it’s only going to be a matter of a few weeks ... so you can apply now already – it’s worth doing this because our first galleries will be particularly well looked after and presented.

Magazin - How it all began -

The Art.Salon started in autumn 2021 as a direct result of a pandemic which had already lasted eighteen months, a supposedly new phenomenon known as NFT and an art market undergoing fundamental change. Historians can read about our perspective on the art world at that time and our Art.Salon here.
