This installation consists of plaster boats on thin rods of varying heights. The boats represent movement, searching, being on the move. Whether they have a specific destination is unclear. The seaworthiness of these objects is also unclear. The drawing in the background with the stepped structures that end in nothingness and abruptly break off or change direction also provide no orientation.

From the series "Strangers in Their Own Land". The plaster object, whose shape oscillates between a shell, a deformed boat or a withered leaf, offers a cosy, soft place to rest on the fur. But the tips of the nails counteract this feeling of home.
