Juliette Mangenot

Juliette Mangenot is a Paris-based sculptress. Her work explores the existential links between human beings. She reinvents the body by giving it the form of interiority.
Her abstract sculptures, with their organic allusions, invite viewers to experience their own interiority, by asking themselves what connects them to others and to the world.

After years of practising engraving, where she specialised in burin work, she trained in jewellery making to give a new dimension to metal. The reduced modelling of wax naturally led her to the freer modelling of clay. Sculpture then took over, an extension of the engraved line.
Since 2022, based in her own studio in Paris, she has devoted herself entirely to sculpture.
