Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art Now and Ten, which included the work World Of Love by Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar. Here, the upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 209,000.00 (€ 183,494.29). Admittedly, works by Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Construction Of The Suez Canal in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,023,750.00 (€ 743,086.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art Now and Ten durch, in der auch die Arbeit World Of Love von Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 209.000,00 (€ 183.494,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Construction Of The Suez Canal im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.023.750,00 (€ 743.086,30).
