In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work The Tutor sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,391.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abdur Rahman Chughtai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Krishna Instructing Arjuna in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 215,945.41).

In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit The Tutor für USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.391,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdur Rahman Chughtai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Krishna Instructing Arjuna im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 215.945,41).
