In June 2010 Christies in Paris held the auction Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, Trésors de la Collection Veil-Picard, which included the work Un Vaisseau Entouré De Voiliers, La Côte À L'Arrière-Plan by Abraham Storck. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 51,400.00 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Storck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 443,750.00 (€ 717,537.91).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, Trésors de la Collection Veil-Picard durch, in der auch die Arbeit Un Vaisseau Entouré De Voiliers, La Côte À L'Arrière-Plan von Abraham Storck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 51.400,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Storck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Capricci of Mediterranean ports: the first with the monument of the Four Moors of Leghorn; the second with a monument of Abundance im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 443.750,00 (€ 717.537,91).
