Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,900.00 (€ 56,235.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adelheid Dietrich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with Flowers, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 252,000.00 (€ 187,318.81).

Die Arbeit Wild flowers in a glass vase von Adelheid Dietrich wurde im Oktober 2000 in der Auktion 19C EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.900,00 (€ 56.235,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adelheid Dietrich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 252.000,00 (€ 187.318,81) versteigert wurde.
