Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included this untitled work by Adi Nes. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,505.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adi Nes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 377,000.00 (€ 273,604.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adi Nes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.505,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adi Nes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 273.604,76).
