This artwork by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work Cycles Brillant sold for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,381.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot GRANDE QUINZAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LAWN-TENNIS sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 42,299.62).
