This artwork by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. In the Indonesian Art auction, the work At the loom sold for EUR 28,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès erzielte im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Indonesian Art wurde die Arbeit At the loom für EUR 28.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women Around the Lotus Pond im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.360.000,00 (€ 3.509.054,33).
