Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Two women with a parasol by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,631,750.00 (€ 164,378.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two women with a parasol von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.631.750,00 (€ 164.378,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women Around the Lotus Pond im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.360.000,00 (€ 3.509.054,33).
