Admittedly, works by Aimé-Jules Dalou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysanne Française Allaitant Son Enfant in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 188,500.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.552,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%.
