It achieved a price of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 61,721.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Admittedly, works by Albert Edelfelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 536,058.09).

Die Arbeit Finnish au Bar von Albert Edelfelt wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including Spanish Painting, The Orientalist Sale, and German, Austrian, Scandinavian and Symbolist Works bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 61.721,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Edelfelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 458.500,00 (€ 536.058,09).
