The work Composition Puriste by Alexandra Exter was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. With this result, Composition Puriste is even the most expensive work of art by Alexandra Exter that we have observed at auctions so far.
