In May 2014 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Marsa by Alexandre Roubtzoff. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,140.00 69% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Roubtzoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bédouine De Tunis, 1935 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 434,258.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 69 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marsa von Alexandre Roubtzoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.140,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Roubtzoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bédouine De Tunis, 1935 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 434.258,00.
